About the Role
Construo Recruitment is working in partnership with a specialist cladding remediation contractor to recruit a Quantity Surveyor on a fixed-term contract.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a business delivering high-value fire safety and façade remediation schemes across the UK.
The role is site-based and will focus on supporting the commercial team with variations, additional works identification, and documentation, playing a key role in ensuring the project is delivered within budget and in line with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Liaise daily with the commercial team to support project delivery
Identify scope changes, variations, and additional works on site
Gather and compile evidence for RFVs, including photos, drawings, and site notes
Maintain accurate commercial and site records
Support the preparation and submission of variation documentation
Assist with client reporting and commercial updates
Ensure compliance with relevant building regulations and contract requirements
Requirements
Proven experience in a Quantity Surveying role
Background in cladding remediation or façade projects
Strong understanding of JCT contracts and variation processes
Excellent organisational and documentation skills
Ability to work independently in a site-based role
Strong communication skills to liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines with accuracy
