As a Post Office Operative with Sodexo, you'll enhance the services of our vibrant corporate site, offering a helping hand to ensure flawless facilities operations and keep things running smoothly.
What you'll do:

Deliver a friendly, professional, and efficient service to colleagues, visitors, and customers every day.

Welcome visitors and contractors, ensuring they are registered correctly and issued the appropriate access passes.

Manage incoming and outgoing mail, parcels, and deliveries, ensuring items are processed and distributed within agreed service levels.

Sort, register, and distribute mail accurately, maintaining excellent attention to detail at all times.

Process outgoing post, including franking and coordinating courier collections and deliveries.

Support large mail distributions and ensure all postal services operate efficiently.

Maintain stationery points across the site, replenishing stock as required.

Replace printer toners and report printer or photocopier faults promptly to minimise disruption.

Manage access passes, site keys, and locker allocations, maintaining accurate records and system updates.

Produce reports and maintain administration records to support workplace operations.

Build positive relationships with colleagues, customers, suppliers, and contractors while delivering exceptional customer service.

Follow all company security procedures, ensuring confidentiality and the safe handling of mail, deliveries, and access systems.
What you'll bring:

Previous experience in a mailroom, post room, reception, workplace services, facilities, or customer service role is desirable.

Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional, and approachable manner.

Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy environment.

Excellent attention to detail when handling mail, deliveries, documentation, and access records.
-
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and experience using mail, visitor management, or access control systems.

Strong communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships at all levels.

A proactive and reliable individual who takes pride in delivering an efficient and accurate service.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team while managing changing priorities.

A good understanding of confidentiality, security procedures, and the importance of handling information responsibly.

A positive, flexible, and can-do attitude with a willingness to support the wider workplace services team when needed.
