We are looking for an enthusiastic and organised Primary School Librarian (Curriculum & Resource Support) to join the team at Ysgol yr Holl Saint - All Saints’ School. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire a love of reading, support pupils in developing their literacy skills, and create a welcoming library environment at the heart of our school community. We are in the process of completing the addition of our purpose built Library and ICT Suite, this role will be central to its success.
As our Librarian, you will manage the day-to-day running of the school library, helping pupils choose books, maintaining and organising resources, and supporting reading initiatives across the school. You will work closely with teachers and support staff to promote reading for pleasure, develop pupils’ research skills, and ensure the library remains an engaging and vibrant learning space. All classes will have allocated time within the Library, this role will be central to ensuring that time has a positive impact on pupils.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about books and children’s learning, with excellent organisational and communication skills. The ideal candidate will enjoy working with young people, be creative in promoting reading, and be confident using library systems and digital resources. Previous experience in a library, educational, or customer-facing environment would be beneficial.
This role plays an important part in helping our pupils develop a lifelong love of reading and learning. You will have the opportunity to make a real difference to children’s educational experiences while contributing to the welcoming, nurturing, and ambitious ethos of Ysgol yr Holl Saint - All Saints’ School.
