We are looking for a confident, enthusiastic, and patient-focused GDC registered Dental Nurse to join our friendly team.
This is an exciting opportunity to work within a specialist private practice, supporting clinicians across a range of treatments with a particular focus on orthodontics and cosmetic dentistry. Whether you already have orthodontic experience or are looking to develop your skills in this area, you'll be supported by an experienced team committed to delivering exceptional patient care.
Enjoy a structured rota with a great work-life balance working 37.25 hours per week, across Monday to Friday on a rota basis.
- Monday: 7:45am–2:00pm or 1:45pm–8:15pm
- Tuesday: 8:45am–5:45pm
- Wednesday: 7:45am–4:00pm or 11:45am–8:15pm
- Thursday: 7:45am–4:00pm (with one late shift, 11:45am–8:15pm, per month)
- Friday: 8:45am–4:00pm
- Saturday: A minimum of 1 in 4 Saturdays, 7:45am–2:00pm
As a Dental Nurse at Riverside Dental, you'll play a key role in delivering an outstanding patient experience by supporting our clinicians and ensuring the smooth running of each appointment.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing chairside assistance across a range of dental and orthodontic procedures, including Invisalign and fixed appliances
- Preparing and maintaining treatment rooms to the highest clinical standards
- Supporting clinicians with digital workflows, including intra-oral scanning and clinical photography
- Maintaining excellent cross-infection control and decontamination procedures
- Supporting patients throughout their treatment journey, helping them feel comfortable and informed
- Maintaining accurate clinical records
- Working collaboratively with the wider practice team to deliver exceptional patient care
We're looking for someone who:
- Is a qualified, GDC registered Dental Nurse
- Has a positive, caring, and professional approach
- Enjoys working as part of a supportive team
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Is organised with great attention to detail
- Is proactive, reliable, and committed to high standards of patient care
- Maintains up-to-date CPD and professional standards
Previous orthodontic nursing experience would be an advantage but is not essential, as full support will be provided for the right candidate.
