Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook dishes according to established recipes, standards, and presentation guidelines
- Assist in the development of new menu items and seasonal specials, maintaining high quality standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of your designated station, ensuring food safety and hygiene compliance
- Monitor ingredient freshness and stock levels, communicating needs for replenishment promptly
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely service delivery
- Follow all food safety protocols, including proper handling, storage, and sanitation procedures
- Serve dishes efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude and professional demeanor
Experience
- Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within the hospitality environment
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, meal preparation, and food safety standards
- Previous kitchen experience with a focus on quality control and consistency
- Familiarity with serving procedures and maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team under pressure while managing multiple tasks simultaneously
