About the Role:
We are looking for a caring and organised Trainee Care Coordinator to join our team. This part‑time role offers the opportunity to gain valuable experience in care coordination and administration while still being involved in direct care delivery. You’ll work closely with experienced coordinators and the wider care team, supporting both the planning and delivery of excellent care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with coordinating care plans and scheduling for clients.
- Support clear communication between clients, families, and care staff.
- Maintain accurate records of care activities, appointments, and client progress.
- Help with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and reporting.
- Learn from experienced care coordinators to develop skills and confidence.
- Continue to provide direct care to clients, supporting their daily needs.
- Help to ensure the smooth running of the care team and uphold high‑quality service standards.
Person Specification:
- Compassionate, patient, and committed to delivering excellent care.
- Well‑organised with good time‑management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic IT skills (Microsoft Office or similar).
- Previous care or administrative experience is beneficial but not essential.
