In this mobile service role, you’ll take ownership of the maintenance, fault‑finding, and repair of industrial‑size chillers and refrigeration systems across customer sites. You’ll be a key technical point of contact, trusted to diagnose issues, carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), and respond to breakdowns efficiently and safely.
Your day‑to‑day will include:

Servicing, maintaining, and repairing industrial refrigeration and chiller plant

Carrying out PPM and reactive call‑outs

Diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and control faults

Producing clear service reports and recommending improvements

Ensuring all work is completed safely, compliantly, and to a high standard

Working independently on site while collaborating closely with the wider service team

Refrigeration apprenticeship or equivalent qualification
-
Proven experience working on industrial refrigeration and large‑scale chillers
-
Experience with HFC systems and ideally ammonia and/or CO₂
-
Ability to interpret electrical schematics, piping diagrams, and system layouts

F‑Gas 2079 and ammonia handling certification
-
Familiarity with major OEMs such as SABROE, Frick, York, Bitzer, Howden

Strong diagnostic skills and a proactive, customer‑focused mindset
-
Full UK driving licence
