Morningside Children's Nursery is an independent nursery and we are currently looking for 1 member of staff to join our friendly and enthusiastic existing staff team. The successful candidate would Ideally have experience in working with children of ages 2-5 and also have experience with relevant documents and legislation such as Realising the Ambition and curriculum for excellence. The hours are negotiable with the option of full or part time and can be short days also. We are looking for individuals who are team players but able to work on their own initiative when required. This position is for a qualified candidate with an HNC or equivalent.
The successful candidate will receive a competitive rate of pay and holiday entitlement.
The nursery will also support further training opportunities to enhance skills.
The post has a minimum requirement of 2 references, one of which must be your most recent employer.
This post is regulated work with children under the protection of vulnerable groups (Scotland) Act 2007. You will also be required to register with the SSSC.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the room supervisor and others to deliver excellent practice.
to plan and deliver a wide rich learning environment and opportunities for the children.
Safeguard and promote the health safety and well-being of children
Be a key worker to a set group of children who you will be responsible for carrying out observations and planning next steps.
Work in partnership with parents and colleagues to better deliver quality experiences for the children.
