GlitterBeam is a inclusive multiregional Radio Station broadcasting on DAB
AVAILABLE SLOTS:
Tuesday 10am to 1pm
Wednesday 10am to 1pm or 1pm to 3pm
Thursday 10am to 1pm or 4pm to 7pm
Friday 10am to 1pm
Saturday 4pm to 6pm
Our studio is located in CHATHAM DOCKSIDE. Please note that the volunteer activity will be held in the studio in Chatham
We are looking for a dynamic and creative Presenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for storytelling and the ability to engage audiences through various media formats.
Responsibilities
- Develop and present engaging content.
- Broadcast Live from our studio
Skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present ideas clearly and confidently.
- Creative mindset with attention to detail and a passion for visual storytelling.
The process
- We will ask you to send us a little audio demo of your voice (maybe telling us a little bit about yourself?)
- We will then organise with you a Microsoft Teams meeting / in person meeting at the studio which will be the final part of the recruitment process.
ABOUT US
GlitterBeam is an inclusive radio station, playing anthems and featuring a variety of speech formats and topics.
Our claim is Music With Sparkle as we don’t play the usual mainstream playlist, but only big anthems.
We offer a variety of shows, live and pre-recorded, on different themes: every show has a specific format, which makes every show unique.
We develop shows in house but also open up our platform to other presenters. One of our highlighted traits from professional presenters is that we offer the opportunity to aspiring presenters.
We help and give them guidance, develop their skills in presenting, editing, broadcasting laws and regulations etc and then provide them airtime. Our shows offer an incredible variety of topics that can be interesting, quirky and interactive. A lot of shows you would not find in mainstream media.
