About the Job
As an Inspection & Packing Operative, you'll play a vital role in the final stages of our manufacturing process, helping ensure our luxury sinks leave site looking their very best and reach our customers safely and on time.
This is a varied, hands-on role where no two days are exactly the same. Depending on business needs, you could be inspecting finished products, preparing customer orders, packing products for shipment, or supporting dispatch activities.
Working as part of a supportive team, you'll help maintain the exceptional standards of quality, craftsmanship and customer service that our brands are known for around the world.

What You Will Be Responsible For

Carrying out visual and functional inspections on finished products.
-
Performing product rework activities in line with detailed work instructions.
-
Preparing daily picks and customer orders accurately and efficiently.
-
Packing products safely and securely ready for shipment.
-
Preparing pallets for dispatch, including banding, wrapping, labelling and stacking.
-
Communicating effectively with colleagues across the packing and dispatch teams.
-
Recording inspection results and ensuring compliance with quality standards.

Maintaining excellent housekeeping standards within your work area.
-
Adhering to all health and safety policies, procedures and site guidelines.
-
Ensuring the correct PPE is always worn and maintained.

Following SOPs and work instructions as trained.

Reporting product defects, equipment issues or unsafe conditions to your Team Leader.

Supporting departmental quality, delivery and performance targets.
-
Understanding how your role contributes to customer satisfaction and the wider manufacturing process.

Undertaking training and development activities to broaden your skills across the department.

Working effectively within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
What You Will Already Have
We're looking for enthusiastic individuals who take pride in their work and enjoy being part of a team.
Ideally, you'll have:

Experience working within a manufacturing, production, warehousing, distribution or similar environment.

Experience using hand and power tools (essential).
-
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
-
The ability to follow instructions, procedures and quality standards.

A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
-
Good organisational skills and the ability to work efficiently.
-
The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
-
Good communication skills.

Experience carrying out inspection, rework, packing or assembly activities would be beneficial.

Experience with abrasive wheels, grinding equipment, lifting equipment or testing equipment would be advantageous, although full training can be provided.

Flexibility to work a variety of shift patterns, including Days, Afternoons and Nights where required.
No ceramics experience? No problem. We're interested in people with the right attitude, attention to detail and willingness to learn. Full training will be provided.
