Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Nursery Practitioner to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will play a vital part in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where young children can learn, grow, and develop essential skills. Your enthusiasm and leadership will inspire curiosity and confidence in our little learners, ensuring they receive the highest quality care and education from experienced professionals committed to early childhood development.
Duties
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
- Supervise children during indoor and outdoor play, ensuring their safety at all times.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through clear communication and active listening.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming nursery environment that adheres to health and safety regulations.
- Support children's individual needs by observing their progress and providing tailored learning experiences.
- Lead small group activities to encourage social interaction, teamwork, and independence among children.
- Collaborate with team members to develop curriculum plans that align with early childhood education standards.
Experience
- Proven experience working with children in a nursery or early childhood education setting.
- Demonstrated management and leadership skills to guide both children and team members effectively.
- Strong communication skills in English to clearly convey information to children, parents, and colleagues.
- Knowledge of childcare best practices, health & safety regulations, and child development principles.
- Experience in nursery settings with a focus on early childhood education methodologies.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
- Valid driving license is preferred for transporting children or supplies when necessary.

Hours are a minimum of 8 hours a day, we’re open 7.30a.m- 6.00p.m
