About the Role
We are a well-established fuel distribution company seeking a reliable and professional Class 2 HGV Driver to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional and responsible driver to become part of a company that takes pride in delivering an efficient, courteous, and dependable service to our domestic customers across Down and Antrim.
In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of home heating oil to domestic customers, representing the company to the highest standard at every door.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out deliveries of home heating oil to domestic customers in a safe and timely manner across Counties Down and Antrim
- Complete all delivery documentation accurately and in accordance with company procedures
- Conduct pre- and post-shift vehicle checks and report any defects promptly
- Adhere to all health and safety standards, including ADR regulations at all times
- Provide a professional and courteous service to customers on every delivery
- Comply with driver hours legislation, tachograph requirements, and all road traffic regulations
Essential Requirements
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) HGV licence
- Current ADR licence (essential)
- Valid Driver CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
- Clean driving licence
Desirable
- Previous experience in fuel delivery (experience is preferred but full training will be provided for the right candidate)
