We're searching for an experienced self-employed multi-skilled worker to join our team at our flagship project in Manuden, Bishop's Stortford, Essex.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake a variety of construction tasks, including carpentry, masonry, and general works.
- Assist with the site tasks preparation ensuring all necessary materials and tools are readily available.
- Safely operate a range of construction tools and equipment, ensuring their proper maintenance.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation at job sites.
- Perform manual labour and operate various tools and machinery as required.
- Strictly adhere to all safety regulations and promptly report any safety concerns.
- Assist in the routine maintenance of construction equipment and report issues to supervisors.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues to ensure a seamless workflow.
Qualifications and Skills:
- A strong work ethic and a dedication to safety.
- Previous experience in construction or related trades is highly advantageous.
- Knowledge of construction site safety practices and protocols.
- Versatility and the ability to adapt to different construction tasks.
- Strong teamwork skills and clear communication abilities.
- Willingness to follow instructions and also work independently when necessary.
- A positive attitude and a keen interest in developing your construction skills further.
Experience:
- Minimum three-year prior experience.
