Responsibilities
- Assist clients in developing tailored employment plans aligned with their skills, interests, and career aspirations
- Provide mentoring and coaching to enhance job search strategies, interview techniques, and workplace readiness
- Maintain organised records of client progress, job placements, and follow-up activities using Microsoft Office tools
- Facilitate communication between clients and potential employers, ensuring clear understanding of job requirements and expectations
- Support clients in developing professional resumes, cover letters, and interview skills through hands-on guidance
- Collaborate with community partners and local organisations to expand employment opportunities for clients
- Monitor client engagement and progress regularly, adjusting support strategies as needed to maximize success
Skills
- Strong mentoring abilities with a passion for empowering others to succeed in their careers
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for documentation and reporting purposes
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to effectively connect with clients and employers
- Customer service experience demonstrating patience, empathy, and active listening skills
- Basic IT knowledge to troubleshoot common technical issues and assist clients with digital job search tools
