Dear Brothers Catering Ltd is a family-run food service business, who specialises in outside events catering to all Major Music, Sporting, Agricultural, and Christmas Events in and around the UK. We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Self-Employed Class 2 Driver to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth delivery to our customers, based all over the country.
Duties
- Driving a Mixture of Vehicles – From vans up to 26-tonne rigid vehicles
- Loading Lorries & Vans
- Replenishing Stock
- Keeping Vehicles Clean
- Unloading Vehicles
- Trailer Experience **Preferred
Working Days / Hours
Tuesday – Saturday, 40 Hour Working Week (Start Time Varies Depending On Season)
Optional Overtime Paid Pro-Rated
Salary - £18.50 (Depending on Experience)
Essential Requirements
- Full UK Driving License
- Class 2 Driving License
Full training will be provided on all onsite equipment. Forklifts are on site, so training can be provided once probation has been completed.
About You
We are seeking a dependable Self-Employed Class 2 Driver to join our team. The role involves the delivery of food products, primarily on pallets, though hand unloading may be required depending on customer needs. Candidates must be physically capable of lifting items up to 20 kilograms and comfortable assisting with packing away goods when necessary.
A valid UK Class 2 Driving Licence is essential, along with a good understanding of Health & Safety and Food Hygiene regulations—or a willingness to learn. This position suits someone who is customer-focused, safety-conscious, and flexible in their approach to their delivery tasks.
