Personal Assistant (PA)/Carer – Weekend Role
Location: PengeHours: 18 hours per weekend (9 hours Saturday and 9 hours Sunday)Pay: £15.90
I am looking for a kind, reliable and proactive Personal Assistant/Carer to support me on weekends. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who enjoys making a positive difference and is looking to build a long-term working relationship.
The role involves supporting me with day-to-day activities, personal care, meal preparation, household tasks and accessing the community, helping me to remain independent and live life to the fullest. Please note that there is no hoisting available, so all lifting and manual handling will always be manual and taught by the current PAs. You will also support me with my 8-year-old daughter, so I am looking for someone who is friendly, approachable and comfortable working around children. There may also be opportunities to accompany us on holidays and days out, with all time worked being paid.
The ideal candidate will be:
- Experienced as a Personal Assistant, Support Worker or Carer.
- Caring, patient and respectful.
- Reliable, punctual and trustworthy.
- Able to work independently and use their own initiative.
- Friendly and happy to be part of family life while maintaining professionalism.
- Flexible to support occasional holidays or trips away.
Essential requirements:
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
- Right to work in the UK.
This position is funded through Direct Payments.
