Millenium Site Services is recruiting an experienced Welder to join our internal engineering team at our Head Office on Haydock Road, Derby.
This is a permanent, full-time opportunity to join Millenium directly, carrying out welding work within the rail industry.
The Role:
- MIG welding of components and sub-assemblies to engineering specifications
- Working from technical drawings and welding procedure specifications (WPS)
- Fabrication, fit-up, and rectification of metal components
- Carrying out visual inspection of welds to required quality standards
- Completing quality documentation and sign-off records accurately
- Working to strict health & safety and quality standards throughout
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience as a Welder, ideally within rail, automotive, aerospace, or a similarly regulated engineering environment
- Coded welder or equivalent qualification desirable
- Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
- Own PPE/tools where applicable
- Good attention to detail and a strong focus on quality and compliance
- Reliable, flexible, and able to work well as part of a team
Hours & Pay:
- Full-time, permanent
- Monday to Friday, 07:30 – 16:30
