Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and reliable Class 1 / Class 2 Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods. This role involves delivering products to various locations while maintaining high standards of safety and customer service. The position offers an excellent opportunity for experienced drivers to utilise their driving skills within a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate in compliance with all road safety and traffic regulations
- Conduct pre-journey inspections to ensure vehicle safety and roadworthiness
- Safely load, secure, and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and adherence to weight limits
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate effectively with dispatch teams
- Adhere to all health and safety procedures during driving and loading activities
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, ensuring client satisfaction
- Report any vehicle issues or incidents promptly to management for resolution
- Occasional Cash collection from customers.
Experience
- Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly with flatbed vehicles or similar large lorries
- Delivery driver experience is highly desirable, demonstrating familiarity with logistics operations
- Knowledge of road regulations and safety standards relevant to heavy vehicle operation
- Valid Class 1 /Class 2 driving licence with a clean driving record
- Experience in handling cargo securely on flatbeds using appropriate equipment and techniques

Pay: £14.00-£14.75 per hour
