Job Title: Goods In Operative
Responsible to: Team Manager
Main Role:
To assist Goods In Team Manager in ensuring that all incoming goods are checked for quality, booked in, labelled and given batch numbers to ensure full traceability. Stock is to be kept as per regulations and a system of rotation in place. Production rooms are to be supplied with stock as required
Main Duties:
- All delivery vehicles are to be checked for hygiene and temperature depending on the incoming goods
- Check CCP’s and record according to monitor
- All deliveries are to be checked for quality, date compliance and free from pests and damage
- Any quality issues or problems to be reported to the Goods In Team Manager
- Raw materials containing allergens are to be identified and stored in segregated areas
- All goods to be stored correctly according to temperature requirements i.e. ambient goods, chilled goods and frozen goods
- Keeping all stored goods rooms, goods in rooms and freezers clean & tidy
- Maintaining a stock rotation system for stock control coupled with a regular stocktaking system
- Keeping waste materials under control making sure all cardboard is compacted on a regular basis and removed outside
- To undertake any duties set to you by the Goods In Team Manager that will assist in the day to day running of the Factory, providing appropriate training has been carried out.
- Work in temperature control environments.

Shift Pattern:
Friday - 12pm to 8pm (30 minute unpaid break)
Saturday – 7am to 4pm (30 minute unpaid break)
Contracted Hours:
16 hours per week
