Responsibilities
- Safely transport food, beverages, supplies, and equipment between kitchens, bars, dining areas, and storage spaces with enthusiasm and precision
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, supporting chefs and kitchen staff to maintain efficient service flow
- Deliver orders promptly to designated areas or tables, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met

About the Role
As a Runner, you are the vital link between our kitchen and Front of House team, ensuring every dish reaches the right guest, at the right table, promptly and presented to standard. You'll play a key part in keeping service flowing smoothly during our busy brunch periods. This role suits someone fast, organised and detail-focused, who enjoys being at the centre of the action during a busy service.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect food promptly from the pass and deliver it to the correct table.
- Check dishes match the ticket and are presented to standard before delivery.
- Communicate clearly with the kitchen and floor teams to keep service flowing.
- Learn and maintain up-to-date menu knowledge, including allergens.
- Support table clearing and resetting between guests.
- Assist Waiting Staff during busy service periods.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the pass and service areas.
- Follow food hygiene, health and safety procedures at all times.
- Support a smooth handover of dishes to avoid delays or errors.
Person Specification
- Fast, organised and detail-focused.
- Ability to stay calm and efficient during busy brunch service.
- Good communication skills, comfortable liaising between kitchen and floor.
