Responsibilities:
Assist in controlling the material flow within the Commercial Parts Department.
Ordering directly from suppliers for ancillary equipment as and when required for customer projects (external suppliers)
Raising purchase/framework orders for logistics partners
Raising shipping documentation (GAI, Packing list) for export shipments
Organising and manage the process to obtain letter of credits and certificate of origin from the Chamber of Commerce.
Prepare items for Despatch and create DAANs as required.
Prepare KITS as directed by Cell Leader/ Material Handling Operator in Commercial Spares.
Prepare TEST as directed by Cell Leader/ Material Handling Operator in Commercial Spares.
Manage inventory to achieve timely and cost-effective customer deliveries.
Suggest process improvements to enhance the Commercial Parts Business, and possible opportunities for cost reductions.
Work collaboratively with other departments and maintain compliance with all appropriate HSQE procedures and processes.
Where necessary, assist Despatch Department in packing orders ready for collection by couriers.
Assist in the factory move from Poole to Bournemouth Airport, possibility of using Reach and Bendi trucks, and fork lifts.
Qualifications & Experience:
Basic knowledge of SAP is desirable
Ability to use a forklift for loading and unloading lorries.
