Overview
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Hydrostatic Test Engineer to join our team based in Kintore, Aberdeenshire. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to oversee Hydrotesting operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading Hydrotest personnel, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards, while maintaining compliance with industry regulations and client requirements.

Duties
- Supervise, organise and co-ordinate the day-to-day activities of the hydrotest team both at Kintore base and on client sites and assess client sites for on-site testing
- Plan, organise and execute hydrotesting operations in accordance with project specifications and industry standards and in a timely manner
- Responsible for the control and management of stock including, gaskets, flanges, fittings and associated consumables
- Co-ordinate the hire, mobilisation, demobilisation and calibration of testing equipment as required
- Prepare and maintain testing documentations, reports and records
- Control TMJI (Technical Mechanical Joint Integrity) certification and on-going training
- Liaise closely with the NDT department to ensure efficient planning & execution of work scopes and all workflow demands
- Ensure all work is carried out safely and in compliance with company procedures and HSE requirements
- Provide technical guidance and support to hydrotest technicians
- General workshop tasks
- To attend company training courses to maintain competency and demonstrate a personal commitment to Quality, Health, Safety and the Environment management.
Experience
- Proven experience in a Hydrotesting supervisory role within the Oil & Gas, Energy, Pipeline or related industries, preferably with a Subsea background
- Strong knowledge of hydrotesting procedures, equipment and safety requirements
- Demonstrable experience working to relevant industry standards including ASME B31.3, API 6A and PD 8010
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities
- Excellent organisation and communication skills
Preferred
- Previous experience working with NDT operations and inspection teams
- ECITB qualified in TMJI10, TMJI11, TMJ118, TMJI19 and TMJI20 preferred
- Relevant supervisory, safety or technical qualifications
Pay: From £18.00 per hour
