We are looking for a confident, hardworking, and energetic individual to join our furniture showroom team.
This is a varied, hands-on role focused on customer sales, showroom support, and stock handling.
A significant part of this position involves lifting, moving, and handling heavy furniture on a daily basis. Applicants must be physically fit and comfortable carrying out manual handling duties as an essential part of the role.
You will be helping customers find the right furniture and beds, supporting day-to-day showroom operations, unloading and moving stock, and maintaining a clean, tidy, and well presented showroom.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Greeting and assisting customers in-store
- Closing sales and processing customer orders accurately
- Unloading furniture deliveries and moving heavy stock throughout the showroom and warehouse
- Regular lifting, carrying, assembling, and repositioning furniture items
- Maintaining showroom cleanliness, housekeeping, and general tidiness
- Responding to customer enquiries
- Assisting with showroom displays and stock organisation
- Supporting general day-to-day showroom operations
What We're Looking For:
- Good level of physical fitness – heavy lifting and manual handling are essential requirements of this role
- Ability and willingness to regularly lift, carry, move, and assemble furniture products
- Previous retail or sales experience preferred (furniture retail experience is a bonus)
- Confident communicator with strong people skills
- Reliable, motivated, and able to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to assist with deliveries, unloading vans, and showroom setup
- Basic computer skills desirable
- Positive attitude with a hands-on approach to work
- Well-presented with good attention to detail and cleanliness

- Wednesday: 09:00 – 17:30
- Thursday: 09:00 – 17:30
- Saturday: 09:00 – 17:00
