We’re looking for a Plumber to join our team in Wiltshire.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll carry out a range of plumbing repairs, installations and maintenance works in our customers’ homes and void properties across Wiltshire.
You will use your experience to diagnose problems, find the cause and aim to get the job right first time wherever possible.
Your work could include:
-
General domestic plumbing repairs and installations
-
Plumbing for kitchens and bathrooms, including showers and shower trays
-
Ordering the correct materials and maintaining your van stock
-
Installation of new or extension of existing domestic hot water systems
-
Following construction drawings
-
Recording your work using a handheld device and reporting any follow on works
-
Keeping customers informed and providing a high standard of customer service
You will mainly work independently, but you will be part of a wider team of trade operatives with plenty of support.
About you
You’ll have a recognised plumbing qualification, NVQ or equivalent, or significant time-served experience working in a plumbing role.
You’ll be confident diagnosing plumbing faults, identifying the materials needed and completing repairs to a good standard. You’ll take pride in your work and look for a first-time fix wherever you can.
As you’ll be working in customers’ homes, you’ll need to be friendly, professional and comfortable communicating with a wide range of people. You’ll work alongside other trade operatives to deliver excellent customer service and get the job done.
We’ll provide a company vehicle, so you’ll need a full UK driving licence and be comfortable travelling around Wiltshire to customer homes. You’ll also need to be willing and able to take part in an out-of-hours rota.
