We’re looking for an experienced, hands‑on Assistant Bar & Restaurant Manager to help lead our busy, welcoming venue set among the beautiful Cornish countryside. About the Role
As Assistant Manager, you’ll work closely with the Bar & Restaurant Manager and senior team to ensure smooth operations across all areas. You’ll lead by example, support staff, maintain high service standards, and help drive the continued growth of our venue.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with day‑to‑day bar and restaurant operations
- Supervising and supporting front‑of‑house staff
- Ensuring excellent customer service and guest satisfaction
- Helping manage bookings, events, and special occasions
- Maintaining compliance with licensing, health, and safety regulations
- Supporting stock control, ordering, and supplier relationships
- Contributing to menu ideas, promotions, and seasonal activities
- Stepping into management duties when required
