Join Sodexo as a Retail Assistant and become part of a friendly, customer-focused team dedicated to delivering a high standard of service every day. You’ll play an important role across our retail outlets, helping to create a welcoming environment and ensuring our customers receive a positive experience.
Working as part of the team, you’ll contribute to the smooth running of the operation, maintain high standards and represent Sodexo with professionalism and pride.
What you'll do:

Deliver a high standard of service while maintaining clean, tidy and well-organised retail and kitchen areas, following a ‘clean as you go’ approach.

Receive and put away deliveries, rotate stock and ensure shelves are well stocked and free from out-of-date products.

Provide excellent teamwork and communication, working across different retail outlets on-site as required and supporting the wider team with day-to-day tasks.

Follow all health, safety, security and hygiene procedures, including reporting accidents, hazards, pests, suspicious activity and faulty equipment promptly.

Complete required training, paperwork and meetings, maintain appropriate uniform and PPE, and carry out other reasonable duties as directed by management.
What you bring:

Previous customer-facing experience and a strong commitment to delivering excellent customer service.

Ability to work flexibly in a fast-paced environment, managing a variety of tasks and working across different retail outlets as required.

Good communication skills, attention to detail and an understanding of health, safety and food safety procedures.

Flexibility to work unsociable hours and adapt to business needs.
