Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Driving Range Host to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent guest services, managing the driving range operations, and ensuring a welcoming environment for all visitors. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic leisure setting, supporting guests in enjoying their experience while maintaining high standards of hospitality and safety.
The working requirements are 3 evenings per week, with 1 Weekend shift.
Responsibilities
- Welcoming customers to the driving range
- Assisting users with the Trackman system and mobile app
- Explaining games, competitions and practice modes
- Monitoring behaviour and enforcing range rules
- Maintaining a safe and enjoyable environment for all users
- Reporting and addressing any incidents or issues
- Keeping the range tidy and presentable
- Collecting baskets and maintaining bay presentation
- Promoting golf lessons, memberships and loyalty card schemes
- Acting as a positive ambassador for Eden Golf Club
Skills & Requirements
- Friendly and approachable
- Confident communicating with customers of all ages
- Able to work independently and use their initiative
- Reliable, trustworthy and responsible
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Basic computer and technology skills
Desirable Skills (But not essential)
- Knowledge of golf
- Experience using Trackman technology
- Customer service experience
- Experience working in a leisure, sports or hospitality environment
