Inspiration Support Services is looking for compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to join our Ofsted-regulated supported accommodation service for young people aged 16–17.
This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference by supporting young people to develop independence, build confidence, and prepare for adulthood in a safe and nurturing environment.
What You'll Do
· Support young people with daily living and independent living skills.
· Encourage education, employment, and positive life choices.
· Build trusting, professional relationships with young people.
· Promote safeguarding, wellbeing, and positive behaviour.
· Maintain accurate records and complete daily reports.
· Work closely with social workers and other professionals.
· Participate in training, supervision, and team meetings.
Essential Requirements
· Minimum 1 year of experience working with children or young people in residential care, supported accommodation, or a similar setting.
· Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care, Children & Young People, or equivalent (or willingness to work towards it).
· Good understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
· Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
· Flexible to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, bank holidays, waking nights, and sleep-ins where required.
· Enhanced DBS check (Children's Barred List) and satisfactory references.
· Right to work in the UK.
Desirable
· Experience supporting looked-after children or care leavers.
· Knowledge of trauma-informed practice.
· Full UK driving licence.
