Priory Lakeside View has an opportunity for a Driver/Maintenance Technician to join our team on a bank-hours basis.
This is a site-based role, primarily working Monday to Friday. The home base will be Lakeside View, with the opportunity to provide support across other local services as required.
Priory Lakeside View, Willenhall, West Midlands, is a specialist inpatient service supporting adults with acute mental health needs within a safe, therapeutic environment. It is accessible by public transport, with local bus routes serving Noose Lane and Wolverhampton railway station approximately 3–4 miles from the service
We’re looking for a practical and reliable Driver & Maintenance Technician to join our team, combining responsibility for the safe transportation of patients with supporting the day-to-day maintenance of the service. You’ll play an important role in keeping our vehicles, buildings, and facilities safe, well-maintained, and ready for use.
In this role, you will:
- Safely transport patients, staff and visitors to activities, appointments and other locations.
- Ensure vehicles are clean, fuelled, roadworthy and maintained in line with Priory policies and manufacturer guidance.
- Carry out routine maintenance and repairs, helping to ensure the service meets required maintenance and safety standards.
- Support with the collection and delivery of equipment, consumables and other assets.
- Work closely with the Maintenance Manager to ensure the environment is safe, well presented and maintained to a high standard.
- Assist with maintenance improvements and other works across the service as required.

For this role, you must hold a full UK driving licence. Experience and knowledge in a building, plumbing, mechanical or electrical discipline would be desirable.
