Duties
- Lead structured martial arts classes, demonstrating techniques and guiding students through drills and exercises
- Develop personalized training plans to help students achieve their skill and belt progression goals
- Foster a safe, respectful, and motivating environment that encourages discipline and teamwork
- Provide constructive feedback to students to improve their form, technique, and confidence
- Organize and supervise belt tests, competitions, and special events to showcase student progress
- Maintain equipment, training space cleanliness, and ensure adherence to safety protocols
- Support students’ personal development by promoting core values such as respect, perseverance, and integrity
Requirements
- Proven sports coaching experience or background in martial arts training
- Strong teaching skills with the ability to communicate clearly and motivate diverse learners
- Knowledge of various martial arts disciplines (e.g., Karate, Taekwondo, Jiu-Jitsu) is preferred
- Ability to demonstrate techniques accurately while maintaining a lively and engaging teaching style
- Excellent interpersonal skills to connect with students of all ages and backgrounds
- Certification or licensing in relevant martial arts disciplines is a plus but not mandatory
- Enthusiasm for fostering a positive learning environment that promotes discipline, confidence, and fun
Pay: £18.00-£40.00 per hour
