In line with our ongoing growth, we are looking for a self-motivated, ambitious, confident individual to step into the role of Store Manager based at our Croydon branch.
Summary
We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and results-driven Storage Manager to take ownership of our containerised storage facility and drive its expansion.
Your primary job will be to manage our current storage department meticulously and develop and expand our storage business. This is a dynamic role which you will need to actively work within your department.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development: Actively seek opportunities to expand our storage customer base and maximize storage revenue.
- Inventory & Grid Tracking: Maintain, audit, and update our digital warehouse database system.
- Financial Administration: Manage monthly recurring storage invoicing, track account receivables.
- Warehouse & Logistics Coordination: Coordinate daily with the warehouse team to align incoming truck arrivals, schedule "access to store" requests, and direct forklift operators to manage the warehouse effectively and efficiently.
- Sales & Customer Onboarding: Respond promptly to inbound storage enquiries to provide accurate quotes, assessing customer needs to upsell storage while securing all required contracts.
- General Responsibilities:
- Ensure units are clean and presentable for new clients
- Perform regular spot checks around the site.
- Oversee and manage two storage locations
- Represent the company professionally at all times.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Industry Experience: Experience in the storage, removal industry, or transport logistics sector.
- IT: Must be comfortable utilizing database management system to maintain flawless digital inventory.
- Growth Mindset: Proven ability or strong desire to drive business growth, and identify new revenue streams.
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Desirable (Added Benefit): A valid Counterbalance and/or Reach forklift license/experience is a massive plus, allowing you to assist the warehouse team directly when required.

Pay: £28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
