Job Summary
All Things Nice Macclesfield is looking for a passionate and hardworking Commis Chef to join our growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with some kitchen or cooking experience who is eager to develop their skills in a professional, supportive, and fast-paced environment.
We are especially keen to hear from junior candidates with the right attitude, strong work ethic, and genuine passion for food. You’ll have the opportunity to work closely with and learn from a fantastic Head Chef, gaining valuable hands-on experience in a high-quality kitchen.

Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation and meal assembly in line with recipes and kitchen standards
- Support the kitchen team with ingredient preparation and organisation during service
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation throughout the kitchen and prep areas
- Ensure all food hygiene and safety procedures are followed at all times
- Help with stock rotation, deliveries, and general kitchen organisation
- Support the team during busy periods to ensure smooth and efficient service
- Assist with serving and presentation where required
- Follow all health and safety procedures within the kitchen environment
Requirements
- Previous kitchen, catering, or cooking experience is preferred
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Genuine interest in food and hospitality
- Ability to work well under pressure as part of a team
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Reliable, punctual, and hard-working
- Ability to perform physically active tasks within a busy kitchen environment
