Overview
We are currently recruiting for experienced CNC Laser Operators and Laser Setters to join a busy and well-established sheet metal manufacturing business in the West Midlands.
This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with experience operating or setting flatbed laser cutting machinery who are looking for a long-term, stable position with a growing company.
The Role
Setting and operating CNC laser cutting machinery
- Loading and unloading sheet metal materials
- Quality checking finished components against drawings
- Sorting and preparing completed parts for production and dispatch
- Working from engineering drawings and production schedules
- Maintaining a safe and organised work area
Experience Required
- Previous experience operating or setting laser cutting machinery
- Experience with Trumpf, Bystronic, Amada, Mazak or similar systems
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Experience within a sheet metal or fabrication environment
- FLT experience, licence not essential.
Shift Pattern
Alternating shifts:
Morning Shift
6:00am - 2:30pm
Afternoon Shift
Monday - Thursday: 2:00pm - 11:30pm
Friday: 2:00pm - 6:00pm

We are interested in speaking with experienced laser operators, setters and setter/operators from sheet metal, fabrication and manufacturing backgrounds. Candidates with experience on any major laser system are encouraged to apply.
