The Revenues and Benefits Section administers council tax, housing benefits and other revenue services for the residents of the city.
We are looking to recruit an individual with a positive outlook and a willingness to embrace new technology to join our council tax team and help us to continue to deliver and to improve our service. It is a very busy team and you will be dealing with account amendment requests, customer correspondence as well as assisting with collection of unpaid council tax.
Ideally candidates will have experience of using ICT systems, knowledge of council tax or business rates as well as excellent customer service skills. Candidates will need to have a good eye for detail, be able to work to deadlines and manage their case load to ensure that performance targets are met.

This role will initially be based at the Civic Centre however after a period of training there will be scope to work part of the week from home.
