We are looking for a caring, reliable and compassionate Support Worker to provide high-quality, person-centred support to an elderly lady in her own home.
The successful candidate will be someone who is patient, respectful and genuinely committed to promoting the individual's independence, dignity, wellbeing and quality of life.
You will provide practical and emotional support with day-to-day activities, while encouraging the individual to remain as independent as possible and supporting her to live safely and comfortably in her own home.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing person-centred support in the individual's home.
- Supporting with daily living activities and maintaining independence
- Supporting with meal preparation and ensuring appropriate nutrition and hydration.
- Supporting with medication in accordance with the individual's care plan and organisational procedures.
- Assisting with household tasks and maintaining a safe, clean and comfortable environment.
- Supporting with appointments, shopping and community activities where required.
- Providing companionship and meaningful interaction.
- Monitoring and reporting any changes in physical or emotional wellbeing.
- Following individual care and support plans, risk assessments and safeguarding procedures.
- Maintaining accurate and confidential records of support provided.
- Working collaboratively with family members, healthcare professionals and other members of the support team.
- Promoting dignity, choice, privacy and respect at all times.

Pay: £13.00-£15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 7.0 per week
