Self-Employed Air Conditioning Installer – Subcontractor
Domestic & Commercial Installations – Greater London & Surrounding Areas
We’re looking for a skilled and self-sufficient air conditioning installer to join our growing team on a subcontract basis. This is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, is motivated to deliver high standards, and enjoys the flexibility of subcontracting.
Role Overview
We’re after an experienced F-Gas qualified installer to handle a range of domestic and commercial installations, including:
- Single and multi-split systems
- Ducted systems
- Both retrofit and new build environments
Requirements
- F-Gas qualified (Category 1)
- Proven experience with both domestic and commercial installs
- Competent with single and multi-split units, including ducted systems
- Knowledge of VRF/VRV Systems would be ideal
- Own van, tools, and equipment is a must
- Strong attention to detail, tidiness, and quality workmanship
- Reliable, motivated, and able to work independently
- Must be customer-focused and able to represent the business professionally
- Flexible to travel across London and surrounding areas
Pay Structure
- £200 per unit installed
- Up to £600 per day for completing 3 x split units + additional earning potential.
- £50 bonus for every verified 5-star customer review
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair air conditioning systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Conduct routine inspections and troubleshooting of equipment to identify issues.
- Read and interpret schematics and technical drawings for efficient repairs.
- Collaborate with construction teams to integrate HVAC systems into new builds.
- Lead and mentor junior technicians in best practices and safety protocols.
- Document maintenance activities and report on system performance regularly.

- Regular pipeline of work across:
- Central London
- Greater London
- Surrounding areas: Brighton, Sutton, Hertfordshire, High Wycombe + more
