Drakes hotel, is a 20 bedrooms quintessential British hotel located on the sea front of Brighton which is part of A Curious Group of Hotels.
Here at Drakes we are looking for a Seasonal Host / Porter, working 40hours per week over 5 day period. This role is shift based so both Early ( 7am - 3pm and Lates from 3-11pm) and will include working at the weekends.
Duties:
- Taking guest breakfast orders, clearing and re setting tables and ensuring that the breakfast buffets is continually stocked correctly. That areas are always kept clean and tidy.
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations
- Assisting guests with luggage on arrival and departure.
- Assisting housekeeping with laundry bags from bedrooms to the storage areas.
- Assisting with hosting at reception for check in and check outs.
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations
Skills:
- Proven experience as a team player as this role is supporting the overall guest experience
- Understanding of food safety
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Smart personal presentation.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards.
A willingness to learn.
The role is seasonal from July until the end of September 2026.
Previous experience in a similar role would be an advantage.
Pay: £12.71 per hour
