THE PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
The role is a customer support role, PTTI Pride themselves in customer support and customer care, As a supplier to large Blue chip entities, It s important that PTTI are professional in all interactions with clients, A great deal of of our customers are large Bus companies and the successful candidate will need to understand the client need and meet them using our technology. The daily routine will be focused on customer care activities and as new projects come online there will be a need to establish new relationships and show a high level of professionalism Some days you will be travelling to customer sites across the country to help install equipment into buses, vans and vehicles, or deliver support and training on our Push to Talk services to staff in different industries and locations. On other days you will be based in our Stafford office helping to prepare the technical components for our deployments, or taking the lead in liaising with customers and triaging and repairing their equipment and systems to get them communicating again.
REQUIREMENTS
Whilst proven auto and vehicle electrical experience is essential to this role, those considered will also be able to demonstrate their abilities of mobile working and technical problem solving in the field a solid base of IT skills would be ideal. The successful candidate will be a self starter, inquisitive and pro-active. We are looking for someone who is a team player, but who can also work alone, is willing to learn and is prepared to deliver great service to our customers and their staff.
A calm, can do attitude is highly valued, as well as a willingness to take responsibility for tasks being undertaken. Experience with communication technology systems is desirable, but not essential as full training will be given. Use of issue ticketing systems and other computer applications will also form a large part of the tool kit needed day to day, so being comfortable around computers is desirable.
You will be expected to demonstrate an understanding and adherence to Health and Safety policies, procedures and requirements for when works are being conducted on customer sites.
You must hold a full UK driver's license. You will have access to a company vehicle.
