In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the safety and compliance of vehicles, contributing to our commitment to exceptional customer service and vehicle quality.
Responsibilities
- Conduct MOT tests on vehicles to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Diagnose and repair faults identified during testing.
- Maintain accurate records of tests performed and results.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding test results and necessary repairs.
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Keep work areas clean and organized for safety.
- Collaborate with team members to improve service efficiency.
- Stay updated with industry regulations and best practices.
- Qualifications
- Valid MOT Tester certification.
- Strong mechanical knowledge relevant to vehicle testing.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment as required.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills for customer interactions.
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
