This is a great opportunity to join our friendly team at Higher Kings Mill as a Production Assistant.
Hourly Rate: £12.21
Hours: The role involves working alternate weeks - 4 days (06:00-18:00) and 4 nights (18:00-06:00) and vice versa. Followed by a 'block rest day period' every month. We offer 100% attendance bonus of £60 per month!
An extremely varied and manual role where you will learn new skills to successfully manufacture paper which involves activities such as;
- Working with various pieces of machinery within the paper manufacturing process.
- Producing & unloading paper reels of various sizes
- The cutting & labelling of paper reels of various widths and sizes.
For the first 2/3 months, you will work closely with another member of staff to ensure full training and competency is achieved.
You will ideally have experience in a manufacturing/production environment but this is not essential as full training will be provided.

- Ideally manufacturing/production experience but not essential
- Confident working on own initiative and as part of a team
- Prepared to work in a physical hands on and manual role
- Excellent work ethic
- Excellent time keeping
