An opportunity has arisen for a full time Operations Manager position in Mitcham & Tooting Health
We are seeking a proactive motivated Operations Manager to join our friendly team who will bring enthusiasm and commitment to the role.
We are a well-established GP practice that is focused on patient care, and together as a dedicated team, strive for the best to deliver excellence in all we do for our patients. We have a list size of 8,500, an overall 'Good' rating for CQC and operate from two sites in Mitcham & Tooting.
The Operations Manager will lead the day to day operational management of Mitcham & Tooting services. The post holder will be responsible for working alongside clinicians, back-office teams and marketing partners to ensure delivery of high-quality services for self-pay and private medical insurance patients. The Operations Manager will also be required to interface with the senior management team of Modality NHS service.
The Operations Manager is responsible for:
-supporting the Practice Manager, in dealing with the day-to-day operations of the practice, motivating and managing staff, optimizing efficiency and overall performance, ensuring the practice achieves its long-term strategic objectives in a safe and effective working environment.
-Deputise the practice manager duties in their absence.
-Ensuring staff adhere to policies and procedures at all times.
-To assist in queries from patients and external organisation
-To assist in IT Support ensuring appropriate usage, Responding and resolving all local IT issues where appropriate.
-To assist the practice in achieving their QOF, Local and National KPI's, DES's snd LES and other clinical targets.
-To assist the practice in achieving good CQC Standards and to participate in any CQC and infection control inspections.
-To construct Rotas for clinicians and staff , agree with management team and upload onto EMIS.
-To supervise the work of the receptions team and co-ordinate support services for other team members.
-Lead reception meetings and positively contribute to the work of the management team, Attend clinical meetings and management meetings to understand how the clinical and administrative team can work closely together,
-To identify training needs of the reception staff and provide support in the achievement of the objectives of their personal development review.
-To monitor calls for patient survey and satisfactions.
-Assist in HR files and DBS Checks
-To perform practice administrative task including patient registrations and deductions, practice mailbox, EMIS and docman tasks.
-To assist in building maintenance.
-Ordering supplies and monitoring stock.
Training will be provided, suitable post for Operation Managers in primary care.
The post is full-time (37.5 hours)

Pay: £35,000.00-£43,000.00 per year
