Overview
We are seeking experienced and skilled Site Joiners/Kitchen Fitters to join our construction team. The successful candidates will be responsible for installing, assembling, and finishing joinery and kitchen units on-site. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work on diverse projects within the construction industry, contributing to high-quality craftsmanship and customer satisfaction. Applicants should possess a strong background in carpentry and joinery, with the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. All positions are paid, including internship opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Installing kitchen units, cabinetry, and bespoke joinery according to project specifications
- Second fix joinery - skirtings, doors, door sets and architraves.
- Assembling components using hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment
- Performing fabrication and precise measurements to ensure accurate fitting
- Conducting site preparation, including framing and roofing support.
- Assisting with general site tasks as required
- Lifting heavy materials safely and handling large components with care
- Ensuring all work complies with health and safety regulations and industry standards
- Maintaining a clean and organised work environment to promote safety and efficiency
Skills
- Proven experience in fabrication, assembly, carpentry, or joinery
- Proficiency with hand tools such as saws, chisels, hammers, and screwdrivers
- Skilled in using power tools including drills, saws, sanders, and grinders
- Knowledge of roofing techniques and construction painting is advantageous
- Ability to undertake heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Familiarity with plumbing, masonry, or electrical systems is a plus
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team

Pay: £25.00-£30.00 per hour
