Pizza Jockeys is looking for a reliable, energetic and enthusiastic Evening Pizza Chef to join our friendly team. Whether you've worked with pizza before or have solid kitchen experience and want to learn, we're looking for someone who takes pride in producing consistently great food in a fast-paced environment.
This is a hands-on role where you'll be preparing fresh ingredients, stretching dough, cooking pizzas and helping deliver an exceptional service every shift.
What you'll be doing
- Preparing and cooking our pizzas to a consistently high standard.
- Supporting all areas of the kitchen during service.
- Maintaining excellent food hygiene and health & safety standards.
- Keeping the kitchen clean, organised and ready for service.
- Working closely with the rest of the team to deliver a smooth service.
- Helping with stock rotation, prep and general kitchen duties.
What we're looking for
- Previous kitchen experience is essential.
- Pizza experience is desirable but full training can be provided for the right person.
- A good understanding of food safety and EHO standards.
- Someone who works well under pressure without compromising quality.
- Great attention to detail and pride in your work.
- Reliable, punctual and organised.
- A positive attitude and strong communication skills.
- Someone who enjoys being part of a close-knit team and fits the Pizza Jockeys vibe.
Hours
- 20–30 hours per week.
- 3–4 evening shifts.
- Typical shifts are between 4:00pm and 11:00pm.
- Weekend availability is essential.
