Job Overview
We are seeking motivated and dedicated Kitchen Staff to join our dynamic culinary team. Duties
- Assist with meal preparation and food presentation to meet quality standards
- Support the kitchen team in food safety and hygiene practices according to regulations
- Prepare ingredients and assist with cooking tasks as directed by senior staff
- Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of workstations and kitchen equipment
- Serve food efficiently and courteously to customers or staff members
- Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to maintain consistency
- Help with stock rotation, inventory checks, and restocking supplies as needed
- Support catering events by setting up and clearing away food stations
Requirements
- Previous experience in catering, cooking, or restaurant environments is desirable but not mandatory
- Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy kitchen setting
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends if required
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
- Basic understanding of meal preparation, food presentation, and serving procedures
