About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience supporting children with special educational needs, either as a Teaching Assistant or in a related role.
- Knowledge of working with pupils with needs such as ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties.
- A patient, understanding, and encouraging approach to supporting behaviour and learning.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships across the school community.
- An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or a willingness to obtain one.
Key Duties
- Deliver targeted one-to-one and small group support for pupils with additional needs.
- Work closely with the class teacher to help deliver engaging and accessible lessons.
- Support children with concentration, emotional regulation, and participation in classroom activities.
- Follow guidance from the SENCO to implement individual support strategies and learning plans.
- Promote a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
- Liaise effectively with teachers and support staff regarding pupil progress, wellbeing, and development.

Pay: £85.50-£110.00 per day
