An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our team here at The Castle Pantry located beside Highcliffe Castle
Set in the middle of seven miles of golden sands, Highcliffe is an iconic landmark with views of the Isle of Wight in the east to Studland and the isle of Purbeck in the west
Fantastic opportunity for a Chef looking work a couple extra shifts over weekends. The Castle café and the satellite kiosk are situated on the iconic Highcliffe Castle grounds and open 7 days a week.
The café serves all day breakfast, light lunch, afternoon teas, cream tea, selection of cakes, sandwiches to take in or take out.
Operations runs 7 days a week, predominantly from 8:00 a.m. until 17:00 p.m. - No Evenings or Late finish.
What are we looking for
Chef / Cook that can help the kitchen team on busy weekends to produce food to the highest standards. This is a fixed term contract, running from March to October - With possibility to extension at the end of the term.
You will…
- Work very closely with the head chef and rest of the kitchen team
- Maintain high standards of food service.
- Be able to adapt to the fluctuations on demand.
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, ensuring high quality and presentation standards
- Follow recipes and adhere to food safety regulations
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
