Contracts Manager

T&D Electrical is one of the leading electrical contractors in the region, delivering large scale residential and mixed use developments for major developers and principal contractors. We are looking for an experienced Contracts Manager to join our team and take responsibility for multiple active projects across Oxfordshire, Middlesex and surrounding areas.
This role suits someone confident at running electrical packages from start to finish, coordinating with site teams, resolving design issues, liaising with clients and keeping programmes on track. You will be involved in projects with electrical package values typically between £2 million and £5 million. You will work closely with our Operations Director and site supervisors to ensure projects are delivered safely, professionally and within budget.
Responsibilities
Managing electrical packages on residential and mixed use developments
Coordinating with site supervisors, foremen and electricians
Overseeing progress on multiple sites and reporting to senior management
Liaising with clients, consultants and principal contractors
Monitoring programme and planning labour and materials
Supporting cost management including variations, forecasting and controlling project spend
Preparing and submitting monthly valuations and application for payments
Reviewing drawings, specifications and technical submissions
Ensuring compliance with regulations and company procedures
Supporting project delivery from first fix through to final commissioning
Requirements
Strong experience within the electrical contracting sector
Proven capability in managing projects or large sections of work
Good understanding of residential electrical installations and regulations
Experience with valuations, application for payments and commercial control is preferred
Ability to coordinate teams, solve problems and communicate clearly
Comfortable dealing directly with clients and contractors
Experience working on projects within the £2 million to £5 million value range is beneficial
Full UK driving licence
