Role Description
This is a full-time Mechanical Installation Engineer role at HARRISON LUBRICATION ENGINEERING LIMITED, located in Bolton, with flexibility for some remote work. In this role, the Mechanical Installation Engineer will be responsible for installing and testing lubrication systems and equipment in industrial and commercial settings. The Mechanical Installation Engineer will also provide technical support to customers and work closely with sales and design teams to determine project requirements and execute them effectively.
Qualifications
- Experience in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Strong understanding of mechanical principles and installation practices
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Experience working with industrial and commercial lubrication systems and equipment
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences
- High attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Experience with customer support and technical service is a plus
- The job will be a engineering role, Based in Bolton Gtr Manchester. you will be expected to travel to Bolton and from here you will be visiting companies all over the UK. Visiting companies in all fields of processing and manufacturing e.g sewage treatment, food manufacturing, paper mills etc. experience of hydraulics, pneumatics would be beneficial due to the nature of the business. There will be working away from home for up to a week at some times during the year. We generally use small bore pipework and install lubrication systems on machines. some aspects will be installation work some will be maintenance.
