Sonder Is a unique Bar, based in Broadstairs, Kent. We are an independent bar with an extensive range of craft beer & wines.
We are really excited to be looking for someone to join our team. At Sonder, customer service is at the forefront of everything we do, this along with our fantastic knowledge and products, makes the customer experience extra special and personal which Is something the owner is really proud of.
What is your role?
It is all about putting great drinks in our customers hands and making their pint / glass or bottle of wine that bit more special.
We are offering a very unique opportunity to the right person. Flexible working hours, Shift times vary anytime in between 11am - 00:00 and we are open everyday so are accommodating with working days so its not the same working week every week.

Responsibilities & Duties
As mentioned, customer service is our number one priority. Becoming apart of the team, would mean you would offer a flawless customer experience to everyone who walks through our door.
All of this means we would like to talk to people who:
- Are confident talking to people & working behind a bar.
- Positive attitude, with the openness to learn.
- Interested In the world of wine, craft beer and cocktails
- Our bar gets very busy, so you need to be comfortable working in a fast paced environment.
- Always looking to improve your wine/ beer knowledge. (Great news, what you don’t know, we can teach you)
- Previous experience in Bars is preferred but not essential.
- Being a team player & happy to jump on tasks, to make sure everything gets done.
- Able to look after the bar, Tidy/ Clean/ make sure the bar is safe, welcoming and immaculate at all times.
- Constantly looking to learn and improve your skills to offer better service to our customers.
What you need:
- 18+ Years old.
- Confidence, engaging, helpful, friendly and warm personality.
- Open and adaptable as day to day can always be different as can the needs of the business.
- Bar experience (Minimum 2 Years)
- Smart & Tidy appearance at all times.
- Able to prioritise tasks, to ensure all jobs get completed.
- Five star customer service is a must.
- Understanding of craft beer & wines / customer service principles & practices.

- Broadstairs CT10 1LR: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
- Bartending: 3 years (preferred)
