Responsibilities
- Supervise daily coffee shop operations, ensuring smooth workflow and high-quality service
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, maintaining consistency and excellence in every cup and dish served
- Lead and manage a diverse team of baristas, cooks, and support staff through effective training, coaching, and scheduling
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and uphold cleanliness standards across all areas of the shop
- Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and monitor food production to minimize waste and control costs
- Foster a positive team environment by promoting teamwork, leadership development, and excellent hospitality practices
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure a memorable experience for every guest
Experience
- Proven supervising experience in a fast-paced food service or hospitality setting
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations with culinary or restaurant experience
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively in a dynamic environment
- Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food production
- Barista experience is highly desirable to ensure expertise in coffee brewing techniques
- Experience in hotel or restaurant settings will be considered an asset
- Excellent communication skills combined with a passion for delivering outstanding hospitality
